A Resolution Accepting the Lowest Proposal and Entering into a Contract with Utility Dynamics Corporation for the Decorative Street Gap Lighting Phase 7

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville ("The Village") is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and
Whereas, a bid letting for the Decorative Street Gap Lighting project was held on January 12, 2025, and one bid was received; and,
Whereas, the expenditures for the project were approved in account number 01.08.15.409; and
Whereas, the only bidder was identified as Utility Dynamic Corporation in the amount of $404,810.00, and the Village has verified the bid is properly complete and accurate; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Awarding of Contract: The Village awards the contract for the Decorative Street Gap Lighting Phase 7 to Utility Dynamic Corporation in the amount of $404,810.00. Utility Dynamic is awarded the bid for the work not to exceed $404,810.00, conditioned upon its execution of the Village's customary form of contract for the work.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections thereof.
