A Resolution Waiving the bid and Authorizing the Purchase of Equipment from Air One Equipment Inc.

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, the Romeoville Fire Department was appropriated $40,000 from a DECO grant received by the Village of Romeoville to cover the cost of EV Suppression Blankets, EV Charging Port Plugs and Lithium Battery Device Bags;
Whereas, the completion of this project will benefit the public by providing additional charging capacity for EV’s and will better equip the Fire Department with multiple avenues for fighting EV fires.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village of Romeoville approves the purchase of EV Nozzles, Car Fire Blankets, Plugs and Battery Device Bags in the amount of $39,555.00 from Air One, South Elgin IL.
Section 2: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
