A Resolution to Waive the Bidding Process and Accept the Quote from Burris Equipment Co. for the Purchase of a New Ventrac Tractor SSV Kawasaki FS600V with Attachments

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,

 

Whereas, the expenditures for the Ventrac Tractor SSV Kawasaki FS600V with attachments are allocated in the current FY20/21 Budget; and,

 

Whereas, Burris Equipment Co. has provided a quote for the purchase of a Ventrac SSV Kawasaki FS600V with attachments with extended warranty for $22,252.00.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

 

Section 1:                     Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.

 

Section 2:                     Waiver of Public Bid RequirementsPursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00 the Village hereby waives the public bidding requirements otherwise applicable to purchase of a Ventrac SSV Kawasaki FS600V with attachments utilizing Sourcewell’s Purchase Assistance Program Contract 031121-TTC, joint purchasing cooperative.

 

 

Section 3:                     Effective Date: The resolution shall take effect after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
