An Ordinance Amending Chapter 37 of the Romeoville Code of Ordinances-Personnel Manual

WHEREAS, The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Romeoville desire to provide for a unified personnel system, and
WHEREAS, the many changes in various State and Federal laws along with the constant reviewing of all benefits and policies will require this manual to be updated from time to time, and
WHEREAS, this handbook is designed as a reference guide to the Village of Romeoville’s personnel policies, benefits, services, and practices
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: that the attached addendum to the Employee Handbook is Section 5 Leave and Holidays amending Section 5.10 Funeral Leave, adding language which shows who is considered immediate family so that the leave can be designed as bereavement leave in the handbook.
Section 2: that this Ordinance shall become effective upon passage, approval, and
publication in book and pamphlet form as provided by law.
