A Resolution to Approve a Task Order from Strand Engineering to Provide Engineering Assistance to Staff Regarding the New Independence Blvd PRV Station

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,
Whereas, Strand Engineering will be providing engineering assistance to staff regarding the new Independence Blvd PRV station; and,
Whereas, the total project cost not to exceed $24,800 Task Order 24-03; and,
Whereas, the scope of work will consist of revising the initial design and bidding documents for the new location and will be expensed in account number 64.08.22.409, and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Awarding of Contract: The Village of Romeoville approves the professional service task order from Strand Engineering to provide engineering assistance to staff regarding the new Independence Blvd PRV station. The scope of services includes revising the initial design and bidding documents for the new location. Services will be billed under Task Order #24-03, not to exceed $24,800.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceab...
