RESOLUTION
Title
Waive the Bidding Process and Approve the Purchase of
Seven (7) In-Squad Computers and Seven (7) In-Squad Cameras for Leased Police Vehicles from Enterprise Leasing
Body
Whereas, The Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, the funds are available for use in the 18-19 approved budget; and,
Whereas, Broadcast Microwave Services / Data 911 Products is the system suppliers of our standard police in-squad vehicle camera and computer equipment; and,
Whereas, the total equipment price will not exceed $82,000.00 which is within the approved budget amount.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village of Romeoville approves the staff to waive the bidding process and purchase police vehicle equipment through distributors Broadcast Microwave Services / Data911 Products in the amount not to exceed $82,000.00.
Section 3: The Resolution shall be in full force and effective from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
