Whereas, the Village of Romeoville ("The Village") is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and

Whereas, a bid letting for the Lower Industrial Resurfacing project was held on January 12, 2026, and bids were received from eleven prequalified bidders; and,

Whereas, the expenditures for the project are budgeted in account number 20.08.02.409; and

Whereas, the low responsive and responsible bidder was identified as Gallagher Asphalt Construction Corporation with a low bid of $2,469,330.99, and the Village has verified the bid is properly complete and accurate; and,


NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.

Section 2: Awarding of Contract: The Village awards the contract for the Lower Asphalt Construction Corporation to Gallagher Asphalt Construction Corporation in the amount of $2,469,330.99. Gallagher Asphalt Construction is awarded the bid for the work not to exceed $2,469,330.99, conditioned upon its execution of the Village's customary form of contract for the work.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or se...
