A Resolution to Approve Professional Services from V3 Construction Group for Wetland Management

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,
Whereas, the expenditure for wetland management is allocated in fiscal year 2027; and,
Whereas, V3 Construction Group has provided a proposal for the ecological management, monitoring and reporting of ponds and wetlands within the Village; and,
Whereas, the project cost will be expensed from 01.08.20.292 for $250,000 and 22.13.16.267 for $30,000; and,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Awarding of Contract: The Village of Romeoville approves the professional services from V3 Construction Group for our annual pond and wetland management services. V3 Construction Group is a professional service vendor who we used in the past for our annual pond and wetland management services. The project consists of ecological management to ensure adequate planting and health of ponds to remain stable in 15 locations within the Village.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, para...
