An Ordinance Approving a Special Use Permit for Christian Congregation Church

WHEREAS, Rodney Menna, (hereinafter referred to as "Applicant") has requested the approval of a Special Use Permit for church services at 1233 Naperville Dr; and,

WHEREAS, the Applicant has provided a description and summary of the business attached as Exhibit A; and,

WHEREAS, the Applicant's request for a Special Use Permit for church services has met all of the procedural requirements of the Village of Romeoville, Village Board of Trustees, Planning & Zoning Commission, Development Review Committee, and the Code of Ordinances, as amended; and,

WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission held a Public Hearing on September 10, 2024 as described in the Report of the Planning and Zoning Commission attached as Exhibit A; and,


NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:


Section 1: That the above recitals and referenced reports are hereby incorporated and made a part of this Ordinance.

Section 2: That the proper officers of the Village are authorized and directed to approve the Special Use permit, subject to final Village Manager and Village Attorney review.

Section 3: That approval of the Special Use Permit for Truck Sales is hereby granted by the Village, which the Village President is hereby authorized to sign, and the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to attest thereto, that the said Special Use Permit for Truck Sales has met all of the requirements as herewith attached and is authorized to proceed at the site legally described as follows:
