An Ordinance Providing for an Amendment to Ordinance 25-1973 and the Fiscal Year Ending April 30, 2026 Village Of Romeoville Budget

WHEREAS, on April 2, 2025, the Village of Romeoville adopted Ordinance Number 25-1973 entitled “An Ordinance Adopting the Annual Operating Budget for the Fiscal Year 2025-206 for the Village or Romeoville, Will County, Illinois” and
WHEREAS, proposed amendments to the fiscal year 2025-2026 budget have been prepared; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Romeoville have examined said amendments and have determined that it is necessary, and in the public interest, to further amend the fiscal year 2025-2026 budget as provided herein; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Romeoville may approve the amendment herein set forth by a two-thirds vote of the corporate authorities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, in open meeting assembled, by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Romeoville, Will County, Illinois as follows:
Section One - That Ordinance 25-1973 entitled “An Ordinance Adopting the Annual Operating Budget for the Fiscal Year 2025-206 for the Village or Romeoville, Will County, Illinois” as amended, be and is hereby further amended as follows:
Section Two - That, except as amended herein, the original budget ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.
Section Three - That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication as required by law.
