A Resolution to Enter into an Agreement with ComEd for Engineering Design for the Route 53 Cable Relocation Project

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville has received an agreement document for execution from ComEd for the engineering design of the relocation of aerial cable along Route 53 at Lewis University to underground; and,
Whereas, the agreement includes a request for payment in the amount of $98,000 for the engineering design, and funding for this engineering design is available in the current fiscal year budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Approval of Agreement: The agreement between the Village and ComEd, and the payment of $98,000 to ComEd for engineering design as provided for in the agreement document, are hereby approved.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections thereof.
Section 5: Effective Date: The resolution shall take effect after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
