An Ordinance Adopting Successor Collective Bargaining Agreement Between the Village of Romeoville and American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Council 31

                     Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“Village”) and American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Council 31 (“Union’) are parties to existing collective bargaining agreements for Public Works and Clerical employees; and

 

                     Whereas, the Village and the Union have negotiated successor collective bargaining agreements.

 

 

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

 

Section 1.                     A successor collective bargaining agreement between the Village and the Union for the Public Works and Clerical unit, in substantially the form as is attached hereto and made a part hereof and as approved by the Village’s attorney is hereby adopted, and the President and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said successor collective bargaining agreement. Agreements are subject to final Village Manager and Village Attorney review and approval.

                     

Section 2.                     All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be, and the same are hereby repealed.

 

Section 3.                     The Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval as provided by law.
