A Resolution Approving a Task Order from Robinson Engineering to Provide Construction Engineering Assistance to Staff Regarding the Multi-Use Path Connection Project

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,

Whereas, Robinson Engineering will be providing construction engineering services to staff regarding the Multi-Use Path Connection project; and,

Whereas, the total project cost not to exceed $55,000 Task Order 24-10; and,

Whereas, the scope of work will consist of, but not limited to, construction oversight, material testing, staking and layout, submittal reviews, and payment review and recommendations; and will be expensed in account number 23.08.02.407, and,


NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.

Section 2: Awarding of Contract: The Village of Romeoville approves the professional service task order from Robinson Engineering to provide construction engineering services to staff regarding the Multi-Use Path Connection project. Services will be billed under Task Order #24-10, not to exceed $55,000.

Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.

Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or en...
