A Resolution Authorizing the Use of MFT Funds for the Remington Blvd from Weber Road to Claar Blvd Resurfacing Project

WHEREAS, the Village of Romeoville has determined that it is in its best interests to authorize the use of MFT funds for the contract construction associated with the Remington Blvd Resurfacing Project, and to authorize the execution of all agreements and related documents necessary in connection therewith, all in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE. The foregoing Recitals are hereby incorporated into this resolution as if fully set forth in this Section 1.
SECTION TWO. The Village is hereby authorized to use of MFT Funds for the contract construction associated with the Remington Blvd Resurfacing Project, and the Village President and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all agreements and related documents necessary in connection therewith, in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A.
SECTION THREE. That the approvals herein contained are further expressly conditioned on Village Manager and Village Attorney review and approval.
SECTION FOUR. That the various provisions of this Resolution are to be considered severable and if any part or portion of this Resolution shall be held invalid by any Court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this Resolution.
SECTION FIVE. All prior Resolutions and Resolutions, or parts thereof in conflict or inconsistent with this Resolution are hereby expressly repealed only to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency.
SECTION SIX. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
