A Resolution Declaring Surplus Property and Authorizing the Disposition of Surplus Property

Whereas, the equipment owned by the Village of Romeoville listed below is no longer necessary or useful for the operation of the Village; and
Whereas, it is the opinion of the corporate authorities of the Village that the disposal of said equipment is in the best interest of the Village Romeoville; and
Whereas, the corporate authorities of the Village authorize and direct the disposition of said surplus property by auction or trade in, whichever is best for the Village; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The following items listed in Exhibit A shall be declared surplus property and shall be sold or disposed of in any manner in which is deemed sufficient.
Section 2: This resolution shall become effective upon passage, approval and publication.
