Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,

Whereas, Robinson Engineering will be providing engineering services related to the Village Hall parking lot expansion project; and,

Whereas, the total project cost not to exceed $100,000 Task Order 24-09 and will be expensed in account number 01.08.15.409; and,


NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.

Section 2: Awarding of Contract: The Village of Romeoville approves the professional service task order from Robinson Engineering for Village Hall parking lot expansion lot the scope of work will consist of the addition of approximately 184 new parking stalls, a bio-swale, new additional light poles, reconfiguration of the existing multi-use path from the Rec. Center, and reconfiguration of the access drive to the pavilion

Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.

Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or s...
