A Resolution to Approve a Service Task Order from Robinson Engineering for Storm Sewer Rehabilitation Design and the 2025 Inflow and Infiltration Reduction Program

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,
Whereas, Robinson Engineering will be providing engineering services related to the sanitary and storm sewer systems; and,
Whereas, the engineering services will be expensed in account number 60.08.24.409 and 01.08.15.402, and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Awarding of Contract: The Village of Romeoville approves the professional service task order from Robinson Engineering for the engineering services related to the sanitary and storm sewer systems. Services will include residential smoke testing, manhole rehabilitation and storm sewer CIPP design. Task Order 25-02 will provide residential sanitary sewer smoke testing and program management services in Basins 3 and 6 which includes Nottingham Ridge and Honeytree Subdivisions at a cost of $38,750.00. Task Order 25-03 will provide design engineering services for the 2025 Sanitary Sewer Manhole Rehabilitation project in basins 6 and 13 at a cost of $13,700.00. Task Order 25-04 will provide design engineering services for the 2025 Storm Sewer Cured in Place Pipelining Project at a cost of $12,250.00.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections thereof.
Section 5: Effective Date: The resolution shall take effect after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
