A Resolution to Approve a Service Task Order from Robinson Engineering for the Recreation Center Watermain and Force Main Replacement Project

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,
Whereas, Robinson Engineering will be providing engineering services related to the Recreation Center Watermain and Force Main Replacement project; and,
Whereas, the engineering services will be expensed in account number 60.08.24.409, and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Awarding of Contract: The Village of Romeoville approves the professional service task order from Robinson Engineering for the engineering services related to the Recreation Center Watermain and Force Main Replacement project. Robinson Engineering will be providing engineering services related to the Recreation Center watermain and force main replacement project. Services will include installation of approximately 1,000 (one thousand) lineal feet of 6 and 12” ductile iron water main, 700 (seven hundred) lineal feet of 20-inch ductile iron force main and all associated concrete and pavement restoration needed.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections thereof.
Section 5: Effective Date: The resolution shall take effect after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
