An Ordinance Amending Chapter 80, Traffic Schedules, Schedule V, Part (C)

Whereas, from time to time the Village of Romeoville has occasion to consider and adopt amendments to the text of its Traffic Schedules, codified as Chapter 80 of the Village Code of Ordinances; and
Whereas, the Village has determined that it is in the best interest of the Village to amend the existing ordinance to provide for additional stop signs near the Village Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: RECITALS. The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
SECTION 2: AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 80 SCHEDULE V - STOP SIGNS. Those heretofore adopted Village ordinances codified as and for Chapter 80 Schedule V are hereby amended by the addition of the following text, to be codified as an addition to the existing text of Chapter 80, Schedule V, Part (C):
Eastbound at Grand Boulevard and the Eastern Entrance to Village Hall Parking
Westbound at Grand Boulevard and the Eastern Entrance to Village Hall Parking
Eastern Entrance of Village Hall Parking to Grand Boulevard
Eastbound at Grand Boulevard and the Western Exit from Village Hall Parking
Westbound at Grand Boulevard and the Western Exit from Village Hall Parking
Western Exit from Village Hall Parking to Grand Boulevard
SECTION 3: SEVERABILITY. That the various provisions of this Ordinance are to be considered severable and if any part or portion of this Ordinance shall be held invalid by any Court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4: CONFLICTS. All prior Ordinances and Resolutions, or parts thereof in conflict or inconsistent with this Ordinance are hereby expressly repealed only to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency.
SECTION 5: EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
