TITLE

A Resolution Awarding the Lowest bid with Visu-Sewer of Illinois LLC for the 2025 Storm Sewer Cured-In-Place Pipelining Project

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and

 

Whereas, a bid letting for the 2025 Storm Sewer Cured-In-Place Pipelining project was held on August 25th, 2025, and bids were received from five pre-qualified bidders; and,

 

Whereas, the low responsive and responsible bidder was identified as Visu-Sewer of Illinois LLC with a low bid of $265,270.00, and the Village has verified the bid is properly complete and accurate; and,

 

Whereas, the expenditures for the project were approved in the fiscal year 2025/2026 budget from account 01.08.15.402; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

 

Section 1:                     Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.

 

Section 2:                     Awarding of Contract: The Village awards the contract for the 2025 Storm Sewer Cured-In-Place Pipelining project to Visu-Sewer of Illinois LLC in the amount of $265,270.00.  Visu-Sewer of Illinois LLC is awarded the bid for the work not to exceed $265,270.00, conditioned upon its execution of the Village’s customary form of contract for the work.

Section 3:                     Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.

Section 4:                     Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, unenforceable, or void, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections thereof.

 

Section 5:                     Effective Date: The resolution shall take effect after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
