A Resolution Authorizing the Waiving of Bids for Janitorial Services
With Integrated Service Solutions, LLC for the
Edward Hospital Athletic and Event Center

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/9-9-1 and the provisions of Chapter 36.43 (C) of the Village Code of Ordinances, the Village of Romeoville may by a vote of 2/3 of tis Trustees then holding office, waive the otherwise applicable requirements for public bidding, whether for labor, services or work, the construction of public works or improvements, or the purchase, lease or sale of personal property, materials, equipment or supplies; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Romeoville has determined to enter into an agreement with Integrated Service Solutions, LLC for janitorial services; and
WHEREAS, the Edward Hospital Athletic and Event Center has utilized Integrated Service Solutions, LLC in the past and has been pleased with their service; and
WHEREAS, The Village would like to enter into an agreement with Integrated Service Solutions, LLC at a cost of $2,000.00 per month for cleaning services for five (5) days per week, per the terms set forth in the agreement attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, that:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby expressly incorporated into and made part of this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Waiver of Public Bid Requirement: Pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of Chapter 36.43 (C) of the Village Code of Ordinances the Corporate Authorities of the Village hereby waive the public bidding requirements otherwise applicable to and authorize an agreement for janitorial services based on the terms and conditions set forth in the attached agreement hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A.
Section 3: That the various provisions of this Resolution are to be considered severable and if any part or portion of this Resolution shall be held invalid by any Court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this Resolution.
Section 4: Repealer: All other Resolutions or parts thereof in conflict or inconsistent with this Resolution are hereby expressly repealed only to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency.
Section 5: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitutional, or void, the same shall not affect the validity of enforceability of any remaining words, phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, provisions or sections thereof.
Section 6: Effective Date: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
