A Resolution Approving a Plat of Dedication

WHEREAS, Abbott Land Gateway, LLC. has requested the approval of a Plat of Dedication attached as Exhibit A and prepared by V3 dated 8-18-17; and,

 

WHEREAS, said plat is located on the Hayes Property at 1115 and 1119 N. Independence Blvd; and,

 

WHEREAS, said plat is needed for Abbott Land Gateway to complete the IDOT road improvements; and,

 

WHEREAS, said request for a Plat of Dedication has met all of the procedural requirements of the Village of Romeoville, Village Board of Trustees, Development Review Committee, and the Code of Ordinances, as amended; and,

 

WHEREAS, said request for Plat of Dedication meets with the approval of the Village of Romeoville and hereby authorizes Developer to proceed according to the Development Regulations, Zoning Code and various requests made by the Development Review Committee, and Village Board of Trustees.

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

 

 

Section 1:                     That the above recitals and referenced reports are hereby incorporated and made a part of this resolution.

 

Section 2:                     That approval of the Plat of Dedication (attached as Exhibit A) is hereby granted by the Village, in which the Village President is hereby authorized to sign, and the Village Clerk attest thereto, that the said Final Plat of Subdivision has met all of the requirements as herewith attached and is authorized to proceed at the site legally described as follows:

 

THAT PART OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 26, IN TOWNSHIP 37 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT A POINT ON THE CENTERLINE OF U.S. ROUTE 66A (AS DEDICATED BY INSTRUMENT RECORDED AS DOCUMENT NUMBER 452330) THAT IS 418.70 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF SAID CENTERLINE WITH THE WEST LINE OF SAID NORTHWEST QUARTER AS MEASURED ALONG SAID CENTERLINE; THENCE SOUTH 53 DEGREES 42 MINUTES 05 SECONDS EAST ALONG A LINE DRAWN AT RIGHT ANGLES TO SAID CENTERLINE CURVE 50.00 FEET TO THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF SAID U.S. ROUTE 66A FOR A POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE

CONTINUING SOUTH 53 DEGREES 42 MINUTES 05 SECONDS EAST 10.00 FEET; THENCE SOUTHWESTERLY ALONG THE ARC OF A CURVE CONCAVE NORTHWESTERLY, SAID CURVE BEING 10.00 FEET SOUTH OF AND PARALLEL WITH SAID SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE, HAVING A RADIUS OF 4011.54 FEET, A CHORD BEARING OF SOUTH 37 DEGREES 21 MINUTES 08

SECONDS WEST, 147.54 FEET TO A POINT OF NONTANGENCY; THENCE SOUTH 43 DEGREES 35 MINUTES 02 SECONDS WEST, 136.34 FEET TO SAID SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE; THENCE NORTHEASTERLY ALONG SAID SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE, BEING A CURVE CONCAVE NORTHWESTERLY, HAVING A RADIUS OF 4001.54 FEET, A CHORD BEARING OF NORTH 38 DEGREES 19 MINUTES 28 SECONDS EAST FOR AN ARC DISTANCE OF 282.98 FEET TO THE PLACE OF BEGINNING, IN WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
