A Resolution Approving a Plat of Easement

WHEREAS, Sammy's, LLC, (hereinafter referred to as "Developer") has requested the approval of Plats of Easement attached as Exhibit A and prepared by Ruettiger, Tonelli & Associates, Inc. dated January 28, 2026; and,
WHEREAS, said request for Plats of Easement has met all of the procedural requirements of the Village of Romeoville, Village Board of Trustees, Development Review Committee, and the Code of Ordinances, as amended; and,
WHEREAS, said request for Plats of Easement meets with the approval of the Village of Romeoville and hereby authorizes Developer to proceed according to the Development Regulations, Zoning Code and various requests made by the Development Review Committee, and Village Board of Trustees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That the above recitals and referenced reports are hereby incorporated and made a part of this resolution.
Section 2: That approval of the Plats of Easement (attached as Exhibit A) is hereby granted by the Village, in which the Village President is hereby authorized to sign, and the Village Clerk attest thereto, that the said Plats of Easement have met all of the requirements as herewith attached and is authorized to proceed at the site legally described as follows:
THAT PART BLOCK 5, IN HAMPTON PARK INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, BEING SUBDIVISION OF A PORTION OF THE SOUTH ONE HALF OF SECTION 27, AND A PORTION OF THE NORTH ONE HALF OF SECTION 34, TOWNSHIP 37 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED JUNE 28, 1969, IN PLAT BOOK 32 PAGE 67, AS DOCUMENT NUMBER 906784, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHWESTERLY CORNER OF SAID BLOCK 5, THENCE NORTH 00 DEGREES 56 MINUTES 40 SECONDS EAST ALONG THE EASTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY OF U.S. HIGHWAY ROUTE 66-A (INDEPENDENCE BOULEVARD), 200 FEET; THENCE NO...
