Resolution to waive the bid process and accept the quote for a Rechassis/Remount from North Central Emergency Vehicles

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, included in the approved 25-26 budget in the amount of $277,000.00, is the rechassis/remount of the Fire Departments 2006 International Medtec Ambulance with a 2026 Ford E 450 Chassis Osage;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village of Romeoville approves the Fire Department Rechassis/Remount of a 2006 Medtec Ambulance with a 2026 Ford E 450 Chassis Remount Osage Warrior.
Section 2: That the quote hereto aforementioned submitted by North Central Emergency Vehicles in the amount of $235,434.00 be approved.
Section 3: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
