A Resolution Accepting the Public Improvements of the Seasons at Romeoville

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville ("The Village") is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, the developer is requesting the Village accept the public improvements for the Seasons at Romeoville development; and,
Whereas, Village Staff has inspected the improvements and determined that they are in substantial compliance with the approved Site, Landscape, and Engineering Plans for the Seasons at Romeoville development; and,
Whereas, Village Staff has verified that payment of all outstanding invoices has been made, that all other obligations have been completed, and that the improvements are in compliance with all applicable Village Ordinances; and,
Whereas, Village Staff recommends acceptance and ownership of the public improvements at the Seasons of Romeoville development; and,
Whereas, Section 158.005(D)(2) prohibits acceptance of public improvements prior to May 1st and after December 1st of each calendar year; and,
Whereas, the Developer is providing a one-year maintenance bond in the amount of $110,889.79 as required in Chapters 158.005 and 158.015 of the Village Code of Ordinances and the Will County Stormwater Ordinance, and is providing a landscaping bond in the amount of $25,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Village of Romeoville accepts the public improvements at the Seasons at Romeoville development and authorizes a maintenance period of one year from the date of this resolution, secured by a maintenance bond in the amount of $110,889.79.
