A Resolution Waiving the Bid Process and Authorizing the Purchase of an Enclosed Trailer Fully Equipped with Paratech Rescue Equipment from Paratech

Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, the Romeoville Fire Academy has a unique opportunity to purchase an enclosed trailer that is fully equipped with Paratech rescue equipment valued at $80,000.00 for the total price of $28,282.00;
Whereas, the Village of Romeoville (“The Village”) Fire Academy has not previously been able to budget the amount of money it would cost to buy the enclosed trailer at full purchase price.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village of Romeoville waives the bid process and approves the Fire Academy to purchase a fully equipped enclosed trailer containing rescue equipment;
Section 2: That the purchase cost of the fully equipped enclosed trailer is $28,282.00, from Paratech;
Section 3: The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
