An Ordinance Approving the Renaming of Alexander Circle to Dalhart Avenue

WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees have reviewed the request for renaming a portion of Alexander Cricle; and,
WHEREAS, Will County has requested this change and would reduce confusion in the event of an emergency situation; and,
WHEREAS, there are no addresses that would require changing due to this renaming because in practice the name has been considered Dalhart Avenue as shown in Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: Approval is hereby granted that Alexander Circle be renamed Dalhart Avenue from the intersection with Normantown Road to the intersection with the east to west section of Alexander Circle as depicted in Exhibit A.
Section 2: The Village Clerk shall notify all emergency personnel of such name change.
Section 3: The Post Office shall be notified of this change.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall become effective upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
