A Resolution Waiving the Formal Bidding Process and
Authorizing a Purchase from Total Automation Concepts Inc for CCTV cameras at Romeo Crossing Park

Whereas, The Village of Romeoville ("The Village") is a municipality in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and,
Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00, the Village of Romeoville may vote by 2/3 of its Trustees then holding office to waive the requirements for public bidding on Village public work, or improvement projects; and,
Whereas, Village Staff received a proposal from Total Automation Concepts Inc; and,
Whereas, the Village of Romeoville is currently working with Total Automation Concepts Inc; and,
Whereas, the expenditures for these improvements are allocated in the 23/24 budget; and,
Whereas, Village Staff has reviewed the proposals and recommends the Village Board accept the quote from Total Automation Concepts Inc for CCTV cameras at Romeo Crossing Park for $24,240;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ROMEOVILLE, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals: The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
Section 2: Waiver of Public Bid Requirements: Pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1 and the provisions of the Village Ordinance No. 2793-00 the Village hereby waives the public bidding requirements otherwise applicable to this project.
Section 3: Repealer: All other Ordinances or parts of ordinances of the Village of Romeoville that are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4: Severability: In the event any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, provision, or section of this Resolution or any portion thereof shall be held to be unconstitut...
